Treatment applied where scorpions actually hide, not just where they're seen
Perimeter treatment included to reduce future entry
A scorpion found inside a garage, storage room, or loading dock is the most common starting point, usually spotted in a dark corner or beneath stored items. Properties near undeveloped land or with a lot of exterior clutter tend to see more activity, since scorpions favor undisturbed spaces close to a structure.
Commercial properties with storage areas or warehouses face a related concern, where scorpions can go unnoticed for long stretches in rarely-disturbed inventory zones. And in some cases, one sighting indoors is a sign that a larger population exists just outside.
Scorpions are naturally reclusive, spending most of their time in dark, undisturbed harborage points rather than open areas. Treating only visible activity misses the places where scorpions are actually spending most of their time, which is why our approach starts with identifying those harborage points directly.
From there, treatment targets those specific areas along with the property's perimeter, reducing both current activity and future entry.
The technician checks storage areas, loading docks, and other dark, undisturbed spaces for activity.
Exterior entry points and clutter near the structure are identified as contributing factors.
Identified hiding spots are treated directly, not just the areas where scorpions were last seen.
Exterior treatment reduces the chance of scorpions moving from outside back into the structure.
Persistent activity gets a tracked follow-up visit to confirm harborage points stay clear.
